A Way to Give Back

We’re Drowning—But We’re Not Giving Up.

Millville is in crisis. Our city departments are stretched to the breaking point—But in the meantime, we don’t have to sit on our hands.

We can either wait and watch things fall apart… or we can stand up and help.

This is my vision to implement during my first year in office:The Millville Volunteer Corps.

Millville Volunteer Corps: One Project Per Year. One City. One Mission.

The Millville Volunteer Corps is a powerful new initiative built on pride, service, and hometown grit. It’s a call to action for skilled professionals, business owners, and community leaders to donate their time and talent to help tackle real projects that improve Millville—way beyond park cleanups and litter patrol.

Whether you're an electrician, landscaper, contractor, roofer, web designer, painter, or small business owner, this is your chance to make a tangible difference. Volunteers will contribute their skills to complete one project per year that matters—revitalizing a public space, upgrading a community center, assisting elderly homeowners, or working with low-income or community members in need to do critical repairs or maintenance.

In return, volunteers aren’t just thanked—they’re spotlighted. Every participant is featured on the official Millville Volunteer Corps website, where their business is profiled alongside the project they supported. It's free advertising, yes—but more than that, it’s proof of investment. Proof that you don’t just do business in Millville—you believe in it.

This is how we build pride.
This is how we move forward.
This is how we show the world that Millville sticks together.

I’ve heard a lot of people say,
“We can’t fix this.”
“We can’t afford that.”
“We can’t change Millville.”

I’m tired of the can’ts.

I’m not in the business of making excuses—I’m in the business of making it happen.
This city doesn’t need more doubt. It needs more do.
More people who roll up their sleeves, lean in, and say,
“How can we make this work?”

The Millville Volunteer Corps is proof that we can.
One project at a time. One solution at a time. One city united.

Let’s stop talking about what we can’t do—
and start showing the world what Millville can do.

We don’t need more people sitting around telling us what we can’tdo.
We need leaders who believe in this city—and have the courage to fight for it.

I’m not running for office to wear a name tag at ribbon cuttings.
I’m running to dig in, get dirty, and get things done.
To lead from the front. To bring in fresh ideas. To work side-by-side with the people of Millville—not above them.

The truth is, this city is struggling. But it’s not broken.
It just needs leadership that’s willing to push past the excuses and focus on solutions.

I’m not in this to play politics.
I’m in this because I believe in Millville—and I believe we can turn this city around.

But I can’t do it from the sidelines.
Give me the chance to lead. Elect me, and I’ll get to work.
Not in four years. Not in two.
Day one.

Let’s stop saying what we can’t do—and start showing what we will do.
Together.

Here’s How It  Would Work

Got a skill? Run a business? Know how to get things done?

The Millville Volunteer Corps is building a city-wide registry of local heroes—people with real skills who are ready to make a real difference.

✅ Step 1: Sign Up
If you're a plumber, electrician, landscaper, contractor, painter, IT pro, roofer, legal expert, or just someone who knows how to get things done—you can volunteer. Fill out a simple form with your name, business (if you have one), and the type of work you're willing to do.

✅ Step 2: Join the Registry
Your name and skillset go into the Millville Volunteer Corps Registry, a master list of go-to people we can call on when a project pops up that fits your strengths.

✅ Step 3: Get Matched to a Project
When the city has a need—repairing a rec center, building a ramp, clearing out an abandoned lot, fixing electrical, painting a building—we’ll reach out. If the timing works for you, you take on one project per year.

✅ Step 4: Get Recognized
Your work gets featured on the Millville Volunteer Corps website—with your photo, business info, and the project you completed. It’s not just a thank-you—it’s a badge of honor.

We’re not asking for a lifetime commitment.
Just one project a year.
One step toward a better city.
One chance to prove that you care about Millville—not just in words, but in action.

Ready to make it real?

Sign up. Suit up. Show up.
Welcome to the Millville Volunteer Corps.
